Suddenly I remember there was this intern who worked briefly in my ex agency... A weird guy, worked over the other side of the office. kind of a bit nerdy but deep down insde I think he thinks he's c-o-o-l and unique. There was an afternoon when i bumpped into him in the toilet. He was washing his hand (which is good...) but he sort of more like snapping his fingers under the running stream of water. and I dont mean just rubbing fingers togathers but literally SNAPPING!
weird~~... this thoughts reminds me of another guy which used to stay in the same student house back in the "90s". He is the odd acounting student/clerk/salaryman etc... (not sure) amongst the other bumming-smoking art students (filthy kids) in the house. He always seen in a yellow shirt, cripstly pressed. Everytime he comes home from work, he'll sit at his little table and make notes. He has written down, word for word, every single word that came out of Casey Cassem's mouth on American top 40s. ( can say I'm vey impressed becuase He always borrowed money from everyone just becuase he's salary/pocket money goes into him time deposits accounts...) Hmm yellow. Yellow T-shirt brings me to another story about another guy in the house maybe next time.

I'm always hungry at 3am...

food for thoughts:
women especially, are the most beautiful when they are happy. No cosmetic and miracle cure in the world can replace a simple cheerful bubbly outlook in life. As being describe as GENKI in Japanese, cheerfulness will also result a radiant healthy state of mind. An energetic spirit will lighten any load of the people around them. I suspect this is why older man likes to be around younger women or even girls. This is natural because the younger they are, the less worries and baggage they have. Hence more cheerful and simpler to please they are. It's a vicious cycle. When one is unhappy, it sends out negative vibes and the face becomes dull and unattractive. All man dislike being around a blacken unattractive face... This will make the women even more unhappy, thus making the black face even worse. Unhappiness only draws sympathy at best, unhappiness will not attract happiness. Its cruel but its true. The only way out is CHOOSE to be happy. Its hard but the choice is always there. Choose to think on the the bright side and care less of the bad. I wish for all the happy energy to all my friends.

Miscellaneous stuff from last week

Skuan leaving for home on a Saturday morning. An early Saturday morning. So early its surreal.

A Sunday evening by the Tamagawa River. Peace cafe. Reggae music humming in the background. Joggers, dragon flies, cyclist, dog walkers, a table full of guys and girls in yukata. In the distant, baseball team in training and kicking up a dust storm. Kids playing with fireworks, shooting at the passing trains.

A satisfying dinner: Pasta, pizza, white wine and a sparkling. An orange cake and a sweet ice cream with espresso dessert accompany by two coffee. Stopped by Futako Tamagawa Takashimaya to rest before embarking on an hour of sticky sweaty cycling home.

The story of the hole in my jeans. This hole is the result of playing with my dog a couple of year ago. He bit and torn it. It grew with time ever since. Now, it’s all that he left for me to remember him by. Ann Ann. A cheerful carefree dog. A good friend of mine too. Along with Jenny, TOTO and Lucky, may them rest in peace.

Typhoon 11 hits Tokyo tonight. Everyone goes home early. I’m supposed to be at Isu enjoying my summer vacation but end up postponing to next week. Typhoon’s season has come and indicating that summer is soon over. Get ready for a short day and long night of hot pot (narbey) eating and drinking.
